Dr. Gina Villani recently joined the National Urban League as the VP of Health and Quality of Life. Prior to coming to the Urban League, Dr. Villani was the Director of Medical Oncology and Associate Director of the Cancer Center at Queens Hospital Center. She is board certified in medical oncology, internal medicine and hematology, and has served as principal investigator for a wide array of clinical programs. Her research interests include ovarian cancer, cervical cancer and HIV related lymphoma In addition to conducting clinical research, Dr. Villani has contributed to a number of leading medical journals and congresses. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed postdoctoral training at SUNY Syracuse Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, and New York University Medical Center. Recently, she received her Masters in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University. |
